Star Wars and the prequels

Jag och min son har börjat plöja alla säsonger av den animerade serien Star Wars: Clone Wars, inför den stora premiären i december av den nya Star Wars-filmen. Serien handlar om äventyr som sker mellan filmerna Klonerna anfaller och Mörkrets hämnd.
Jag har tidigare bara sporadiskt tittat på en del av dessa avsnitt men måste säga att de är ganska underhållande och välgjorda. Lite störande är de svenska rösterna som inte riktigt känns Star Wars.
Hittills har vi kommit till mitten av andra säsongen och det är ännu för tidigt att recensera serien tycker jag.
Däremot kan man ganska snabbt slå fast att prequel-äventyr gärna vill utnyttja händelser och annat som händer senare i kronologin, trots att man ju ska vara försiktig med sådant eftersom vissa saker ännu inte har skett. Ett exempel är till exempel när Obi Wan Kenobi ställs inför General Grieavous i ett av avsnitten. Det blir en stor fäktningsscen där generalen plockar fram sina ljussvärd och även får fram två extra armar. Något som också sker i Mörkrets hämnd. Men att döma av Kenobis förvåning i Mörkrets hämnd så har han aldrig sett generalen så här tidigare. Ett typiskt exempel på att man ibland tar sig för stora friheter i prequel-äventyr. Clone Wars anses ju tillhöra grundkanon för Star Wars vilket betyder att allt som händer i den serien har hänt i samma kronologi som händelserna i filmerna.
Det finns säkert flera exempel på situationer i serien som rimmar illa med efterkommande filmer, jag lär återkomma i frågan.

Me and my son has started to plow all seasons of the animated series Star Wars: Clone Wars, before the big premiere in December of the new Star Wars movie. The series is about adventure that takes place between the films Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith.
I have previously only sporadically looked at some of these episodes and have to say they are pretty entertaining and well made. A little disturbing is the Swedish voices that not feels Star Wars.
So far, we come to the middle of the second season and it is still too early to review the series I think, however, one can rather quickly conclude that the prequel adventure keen to take advantage of events and situations that happens later in the chronology, despite the'll be careful about this because some things have not yet occurred. One example is when Obi Wan Kenobi faces the General Grieavous in one of the episodes. It comes to a big sword fighting scene where the general takes out his lightsabers and even get up two extra arms. This also happens in Revenge of the Sith. Judging the Kenobi surprise in Revenge of the Sith, he has never seen General like this before, witch obviously isn't the case. A typical example of that prequels often takes a great freedom in the prequel adventure. Clone Wars is considered to belong to the basic canon of Star Wars, which means that everything that happens in the series happens in the same chronology as in the movies.
There are certainly many examples of situations in the series that does not suit well with subsequent films, I will ge back on the issue.
